Spiralcat Creative, LLC (formerly CNJ Creative) is a boutique design firm specializing in brand development, integrated marketing campaigns, tourism & travel guides, lifestyle magazines, event design, and culinary promotions. I founded the business in 2010 after 11 years in the advertising and publishing industry.
I am proud to say that I am a PRINT designer, even in the digital design world. Expertise in mechanical press production is still fundamental to design, regardless of whether it is print or digital.
That’s because details matter, and pre-press production is ALL about the details. Technical skills in mechanical production for web press, sheet-fed offset printing, spot color or foil separations, and die-cut templates are priceless. Even in the digital content era — even in the generative AI era — this knowledge and specialized skill set still apply to visual communications. That’s because I know that as the last person to touch the files, the buck stops with me.
